India: Puma becomes the official ball supplier of the Indian Super League for 2014

The German sports equipment supplier Puma became the official ball supplier of the ISL (Indian Super League) for 2014, the league announced on 30/09/2014.

The evoPower 1 ball will be used during the competition, which runs from 12/10/2014 to 20/12/2014. Hero (a joint venture between the Hero group and Honda), the leading manufacturer of motorcycles in the world, is the title sponsor of the ISL, which officially called the Hero Indian Super League in 2014.

  • The media rights and marketing agency IMG Worldwide, the Indian petrochemicals conglomerate Reliance Industries, and the Indian broadcaster Star India were equal partners in creating the Indian Super League on 21/10/2013.
    • Star India holds audio-visual and commercial rights of the championship.
  • The Indian Super League has signed a partnership with the Premier League (ENG) to take advantage of its commercial and sporting knowledge and improve football practises in India on 22/06/2014.
