Rugby: Emirates extends as a worldwide partner of World Rugby and will be a sponsor of France 2023

Emirates, an Emirati airline, has extended its role as a worldwide partner of World Rugby (first level) for an additional five years (2023-2027), announced the world governing body on 27/07/2022.

The agreement covers the 2023 World Cup in France and the 2027 World Cup in Australia, for which Emirates is now the "official airline" (first level). The Dubai-based airline has been a partner of every World Rugby Cup since 2007 (2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019). The group is also a sponsor of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Emirates is also extending its commitment to the international body's official referees for rugby union matches. Since 2013, Emirates - Fly Better has been the main jersey sponsor for World Rugby officials.
