FC Girondins de Bordeaux: "Immense relief" following the FFF's decision to keep the club in Ligue 2

"We welcome this decision, which is an immense source of relief for the club, for all of our players, and of course for our 300 employees, our partners and our fans, who have never stopped believing in our project and our determination to see it through," said Thomas Jacquemier, executive vice-president of FC Girondins de Bordeaux, on 27/07/2022, following an announcement by the FFF of its decision to keep the club in Ligue 2 BKT.

"The executive committee of the French Football Federation, at its meeting today (Wednesday 27/07/2022), has decided to accept the conciliation proposal made by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), dated 25/07/2022, concerning the maintenance of FC Girondins de Bordeaux in Ligue 2 BKT," said the FFF on 27/07/2022.

"The FFF executive committee (meeting by video conference) asks the DNCG to summon FC Girondins de Bordeaux to consider any immediate follow-up and control measures against it," continued the Federation.
