France: two practical guides for federations and ministry operators to fight corruption in sport

"The fight against corruption in sport has become an international issue in recent years, and France has taken the measure of it. This is why the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA) and the Ministry of Sports have worked on two practical guides for sports federations and the Ministry's operators (documents available to download in French)," said the Anti-Corruption Agency and the French Ministry of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games on 21/07/2022

"The awarding of the 2023 Rugby World Cup and the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to our country is a lever for undertaking work aimed at preventing and detecting breaches of integrity in the organisation of competitions, as well as in the daily practice of sport and the conduct of public policy to promote sport," explained the Agency and the Ministry.

"All those involved in sport, athletes, supporters and organisers, have a role to play in ensuring a more honest and ethical sport," added the two bodies.
