Tour de France: nearly 150 million viewers in Europe watched the 2022 edition

The 2022 edition of the Tour de France, won by Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma), drew nearly 150 million viewers (who watched the event for at least one minute) across all the channels broadcasting the event in Europe, according to Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) on 28/07/2022.

Among the figures communicated by ASO:
• The event totalled 715 million hours viewed live on the channels broadcasting the event in Europe, an increase of 8% compared to the 2021 edition;
• The channels of the public broadcasting group France Télévisions (France 2 and France 3) recorded more than 100 hours of broadcasting of the Tour de France 2022;
• The letour.fr website had 17.6 million unique visitors during the 2022 event, an increase of 18.8% compared to 2021;
• The Tour de France's social networks had 10 million followers (+600,000 since the 2021 edition), and 684 million people were reached by the various content posted on these social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Dailymotion and YouTube);
• The "Tour de France Club" programme has more than 305,000 members (x2.5 compared to 2021).
