"The big idea is to create a venue that is alive all year round because you don't build a stadium for just 18 matches per season. So we have to find activities that are coherent with this new venue. We went to visit many clubs in France, England, Belgium and Sweden. We found inspiration for pre- and post-match entertainment," said Denis Le Saint, president of Stade Brestois 29 (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), to News Tank Football on 18/07/2022.

"The renovation wasn't part of our project. We have moved towards a public-private project with the desire to make the venue come alive throughout the year, a 360° project with entertainment, esports, a route that would pass under the stands, etc.," said the majority shareholder - with his brother Gérard Le Saint - of the Breton club, which unveiled its new stadium project (estimated at €85m) on 30/03/2022.
