2022-23 Bundesliga: all you need to know about the 18 clubs

FC Bayern Munich, the 2021-22 Bundesliga champions, will put their title back on the line from Friday 05/08/2022, when the 60^th season of the German championship kicks off.

The Bavarian club, who has already won the German Supercup (5-3 against RB Leipzig, on 30/07/2022) and above all the last 10 editions of the Bundesliga - an unprecedented performance in the European Top 5 - is the favorite to win the competition in 2022-23. Bayern will also have to do well in the Champions League, in which they will compete in the group stage alongside Borussia Dortmund, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, as well as Eintracht Frankfurt, winners of the 2021-22 Europa League.

In the Europa League, the Bundesliga will be represented by 1. FC Union Berlin and SC Freiburg, while 1. FC Köln will participate in the play-offs of the Europa Conference League in an attempt to reach the group stage.
