Qatar 2022: final test event Lusail Stadium, that will host the World Cup final, on 09/09/2022

The Lusail Stadium, an 80,000-capacity stadium that will host the 2022 World Cup final on Sunday 18/12/2022 in Lusail (a new city located 15 km north of Doha, QAT), will be inaugurated on 09/09/2022 on the occasion of the Lusail Super Cup, a match between the Egyptian champion ( still undetermined) and the Saudi Arabian champion (Al Hilal SC), said the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) on 02/08/2022.

The Lusail Stadium is the last of the eight World Cup stadiums that has not yet been inaugurated. In addition to the final, the largest stadium of the next World Cup will host six group matches (including two from Brazil and two from Argentina), one Round of 16, one quarter-final and one semi-final, for a total of 10 matches.
