Manchester City FC: Puma launches its first digital shirt in the metaverse on the platform Roblox

Puma has activated its partnership with Manchester City FC (Premier League) for the launch of a web3 operation on Roblox, an online multiplayer video game platform (over 50 million daily users), to unveil the club's 2022-23 third shirt, announced both organisations on 03/08/2022.

This is Puma's first shirt launch on the metaverse. The two partners are offering an online experience within Roblox called "Puma and the Land of Games" in which players can interact with each other and trade digital shirts of the 2021-22 English champions. Other merchandising will be available on the platform.

As part of the launch, Puma will broadcast, on YouTube, a tournament of a mini-game on Roblox called "Football Rush". The winners of this tournament will recieve "$10,000 (€9,802) to be used on Roblox." Puma and Manchester City have already offered other web3 operations in 2022.
