2022-23 Premier League: all you need to know regarding broadcasters in the UK and internationally

Crystal Palace FC - Arsenal FC, the first match of the 2022-23 Premier League season, scheduled to take place at Selhurst Park (25,456 capacity) in London (UK) on Friday 05/08/2022 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET), will be broadcast in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sport Premier League, the channels of the pay-TV group Sky.

The Premier League is entering a new TV rights cycle for 2022-2025, although the English body will retain the same domestic broadcasters as during the 2019-2022 period, for a similar amount: the British pay-TV group Sky (128 live games), BT Sport (52 live games), the American e-commerce group Amazon (20 games; two exclusive matchdays) and the public group BBC (free-to-air rights to the highlights).

The Premier League domestic and international broadcasting rights are expected to bring in £5.1bn (€6.03bn) and £5.3bn (€6.27bn) respectively over the 2022-2025 cycle, according to the British daily The Times on 10/02/2022.
