Matchday 1 of the 2022-23 Bundesliga season drew an average of 21,107 spectators per game, from Friday 05 to Sunday 07/08/2022. The average fill rate was 92%.

German clubs are starting the new season without any capacity restrictions in their stadiums, unlike the 2021-22 season during which the majority of matches were subject to partial capacity restrictions imposed by authorities due to the Covid-19 health crisis.
