2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats / Matchday 1: 29,087 spectators on average per game, a record since 2018

Matchday 1 of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season drew an average of 29,087 spectators per game, from Friday 05 to Sunday 07/08/2022. The French championship had not seen such high attendance figures since 2018-19 (30,778 spectators per game, from 10 to 12/08/2018). The average fill rate was 80.5%.

Olympique de Marseille - Stade de Reims (4-1), the last fixture of the matchday on 07/08/2022 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), was the game that posted the best attendance with 62,738 spectators at the Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity), for a fill rate of 94.7%.

Six matches drew more than 25,000 spectators, while three others welcomed less than 15,000.
