2022-23 Serie A TIM: all you need to know about the 20 clubs

AC Milan, the 2021-22 Serie A TIM champions, will put their title back on the line from Saturday 13/08/2022, when the 2022-23 Italian championship season kicks off.

The Milanese club will try to retain their title against many ambitious rivals, starting with neighbouring FC Inter Milan, the 2020-21 Italian champions. Juventus FC and SSC Napoli will compete alongside both clubs in the group stage of the Champions League. SS Lazio and AS Roma have qualified for the Europa League, while ACF Fiorentina will participate in the play-offs of the Europa Conference League (on 18 and 25/08/2022, opponent to be determined) in an attempt to reach the group stage.

Filling their stadiums will be essential for Italian clubs to generate revenue in 2022-23, as they were subject to severe restrictions on public attendance until Matchday 30 of the 2021-22 season due to the Covid-19 health crisis.
