The AS Roma (Serie A TIM) - Shakhtar Donetsk (UKR) friendly (5-0), played in front of 65,303 spectators at the Stadio Olimpico (Rome, ITA) on Sunday 07/08/2022 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), was broadcasted on DAZN Italy's TikTok account as part of a partnership between the Roman club and the OTT sports platform, a first for a Serie A TIM club. The match was also broadcasted on DAZN. 

"The live broadcast registered more than half a million views, and was made to allow the many soccer lovers on the platform of the moment to be able to experience the incredible atmosphere of the Stadio Olimpico packed with more than 65,000 spectators. The peak of users connected to follow live all the emotions of the match was more than 23,000 people, who participated with comments and reactions to the plays and goals," said AS Roma on 09/08/2022.

More than 15,000 people also logged on to AS Roma's TikTok account at half-time to watch the performance of Italian singer Blanco. The Italian club's TikTok account has a total of 4.9 million followers, while DAZN Italy's has 326,500, as of 10/08/2022.
