The opening match and ceremony of the 2022 World Cup, that will take place at the Al Bayt Stadium (QAT), have been brought forward one day, from Monday 21 to Sunday 20/11/2022 following a unanimous decision taken by the Bureau of the FIFA Council, announced the global body on 11/08/2022.
