FC Bayern: Deutsche Telekom extends its 20-year partnership until 2026-27 for €50m/season

Deutsche Telekom has extended "early" as a major partner and main shirt sponsor of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) for five additional seasons (2022-2027), announced the 2021-22 German champions and the telecommunications operator on 14/08/2022.

This renewal brings the duration of the partnership to 25 seasons, the longest running main shirt sponsorship contract in the European Top 5, except for the deal between VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) and Volkswagen, the German club's owner group.

Over this new cycle of rights, the partnership is worth an estimated €50m per season, up from €45m in 2021-22, the most lucrative agreement in the German championship, according to the German newspaper Bild on 09/08/2022.
