Matchday 2 of the 2022-23 Premier League season drew an average of 38,762 spectators per game, from Saturday 13 to Monday 15/08/2022. The average fill rate was 98.1%.

Arsenal FC - Leicester City FC (4-2) on 13/08/2022 (kick-off at 16:00 CET) was the game that posted the best attendance with 60,033 spectators at the Emirates Stadium (60,704 capacity), for a fill rate of 98.9%.

The Premier League clubs had drawn 41,334 spectators on average per game on Matchday 2 of the 2021-22 season (from Saturday 21 to Monday 23/08/2021), for a fill rate of 96.5%.
