European Leagues: 2022-23 Leagues' Competitions Overview

The European Leagues and its members have published their 2022-23 "Leagues' Competitions Overview" on 05/08/2022. As every year, this document provides a country-by-country summary of the standings for the past season (2021-22) and presents the key elements of the upcoming competitions (format, participating clubs, match schedule, kick-off times, etc.).

The main feature of this 2022-23 season is the international break from 14/11 to 18/12/2022, due to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar being held in autumn for climatic reasons.

13 European national teams (England, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, France, Netherlands, Wales, Portugal, Poland, Serbia and Switzerland) have qualified for this 22^nd World Cup. "Professional league football won’t simply stop in the European continent.
