Matchday 1 of the 2022-23 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 29,568 spectators per game, from Friday 12 to Monday 15/08/2022. The average fill rate was 75.8%.

FC Barcelona - Rayo Vallecano (0-0), on Saturday 13/08/2022 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), was the match that posted the best attendance with 81,104 spectators at the Spotify Camp Nou (99,354 capacity), for a fill rate of 81.6%. Four stadiums hosted more than 35,000 spectators, the other six welcomed less than 20,000.

The LaLiga Santander clubs had drawn an average of only 9,046 spectators per game on Matchday 1 of the 2021-22 season, for a fill rate of 24.3%, as a result of the partial capacity restrictions imposed by authorities due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
