DAZN: technical problems over the weekend of 13/08/2022, customers in Italy to receive compensation

"DAZN is aware of the importance of its service to sports fans. We take this responsibility seriously and would like to apologise deeply to all users who were unable to access their account over the weekend," said the sports streaming platform DAZN on 14/08/2022.

"An exceptional event occurred that affected some users in various markets where DAZN operates. As a temporary solution, we have set up an alternative way to follow the matches using a link that we have sent to customers. We have technicians working around the clock to resolve the issue. We will offer an alternative way to follow the events live again, if necessary."

"In Italy, in accordance with the applicable regulations, each affected customer will recieve compensation, which will be paid according to terms to be disclosed in the coming days. It is our responsibility to make sure that everything is working. That is the commitment we are making."
