LaLiga and the new Spanish Professional Women's Football League (Liga Profesional de Fútbol Femenino, LPFF) have reached an agreement under which the former will be given exclusive negotiating powers over its commercial rights for five seasons (2022-2027) by the latter, according to Spanish media reports on 18/08/2022.

LaLiga is committed to providing the LPFF, a new body created in March 2022 (see below), and its clubs with a minimum of €42m in revenue over the period through the marketing of the naming rights of the new women's professional league (which will begin on 11/09/2022), its official ball and all other sponsorship and licensing rights of the league chaired by Beatriz Álvarez, according to Spanish media. Media rights, which will be put out to tender by the LPFF itself in the near future, are excluded from the agreement.

The new Spanish women's championship, which succeeds the Primera Iberdrola, will also benefit from some €15m that the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) has decided to invest over the first three seasons of the competition.
