Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain and Huawei launch the #Parismeltingspot initiative

Huawei, the Chinese information technology and communications group, and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) have launched the #Parismeltingspot social network initiative for the match against AS Monaco (1-1, Matchday 9 of Ligue 1), on 05/10/2014.

The programme, created by the La Fourmi agency, seeks to invite "e-influencers" to help create a unique experience at every Ligue 1 match in the Parc des Princes (capacity 49, 691). Guests of #Parismeltingspot were able to visit the locker rooms, approach players at the edge of the pitch during the warm-ups, and also participate in the Citroën Golden Barre operation. The goal for the club is build to new audiences based on the digital communities of the invited "e-influencers." "The first operation involved 1.5 million people," said the La Fourmi agency to News Tank.

  • Maxime Musqua (comedian), Amaury Leveaux (swimmer) and Margot Cirou (fashion blogger) were invited to the first operation of #Parismelting spot.
  • Huawei has become a partner of Paris SG on 03/04/2014.
    • the three-year partnership will expire at the end of the 2016-17 season.
