2022-23 Serie A TIM: 5.2 million viewers on DAZN in Italy for the 10 games on Matchday 2

The ten games on Matchday 2 of the 2022-23 Serie A TIM season, played from 20 to 22/08/2022, drew 5.2 million viewers on the OTT platform DAZN, which broadcasts all the games each matchday (7 exclusively, 3 co-broadcast with Sky Italia), according to Auditel data reported by the website Prima Comunicazione on 23/08/2022.

Matchday 1's games drew 3.7 million viewers from 13 to 15/08/2022. During the 2021-22 season, the first (21-23/08/2021) and second (27-29/08/2021) matchdays of the Italian league posted 4.3 million and 4.7 million viewers respectively on DAZN, according to a statement reported by the advertising company Digitalia'08.

In Italy, DAZN holds the rights to all Serie A TIM matches (including 7 out of 10 on an exclusive basis) over the 2021-2024 cycle, for €840m per season. Three games per matchday are co-broadcast by the channels belonging to the pay-TV group Sky Italia. The group acquired these rights for the 2021-2024 cycle for an estimated €87.5m per season.
