LaLiga: Motorola becomes a partner in Mexico, 3^rd regional partnership in Latin America in 2022-23

Motorola México, a national subsidiary of the telecommunications company owned by the Chinese Lenovo Group, has become a regional partner of LaLiga Santander for the Mexican market from the 2022-23 season, announced LaLiga on 23/08/2022.

The smartphone manufacturer has the status of regional partner, the fourth level in LaLiga's sponsorship hierarchy. "This partnership represents a new way for fans to experience the same excitement as a live match, but now from the technology of a smartphone," explained the body.

LaLiga is thus strengthening its portfolio of regional partners for Latin America in 2022-23 after having signed a partnership with Chubb Seguros (insurance) for nine countries on the American continent on 09/08 and with RushBet (sports betting) on 12/09/2022.

Motorola will be the main shirt sponsor of promoted side AC Monza (Serie A TIM) for the 2022-2024 period following an agreement concluded by the group's Italian subsidiary on 07/07/2022. In football, the telephony specialist is also partnered with RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) and Chicago Fire (MLS, main shirt sponsor).
