Liga BBVA: Atlético Madrid achieve record turnover of €162.8m in 2013-14 (+ 35.8%)

Atlético Madrid (Liga BBVA) achieved a record turnover of €162.8m for the 2013-14 season, the club announced at the general meeting of its socios on 30/09/2014. This figure increased €42.9m (up 35.8%) compared to 2012-13 (€119.9m).

The club indicated that the majority of the increase in turnover is due to reaching the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League final (lost to Real Madrid, 4-1 a.e.t on 24/06/2014). Atlético Madrid recorded a net profit of €1.6m in 2013-14. This figure decreased 20% compared to 2012-13 (€2m).
