2022-23 Champions League: results of the draw for the group stage of the competition

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), the 2021-22 Champions League winners from Pot 1, have been drawn in Group F for the 2022-23 Champions League group stage alongside RB Leipzig (Bundesliga, GER), Shakhtar Donetsk (Vbet League, UKR) and Celtic FC (cinch Premiership, SCO), following the UEFA draw in Istanbul (TUR) on Thursday 25/08/2022.

Liverpool FC (Premier League), 2021-22 Champions League runners-up (Pot 2), are in Group A along with AFC Ajax (Eredivisie, NED), SSC Napoli (Serie A TIM, ITA) and Rangers FC (cinch Premiership, SCO).

Matchday 1 of the group stage is scheduled for Tuesday 06 and Wednesday 07/09/2022. The group stage will end on 02/11/2022 due to the 2022 World Cup being held in Qatar from 20/11 to 18/12/2022.

The 2022-23 Champions League final will be held at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul (TUR) on Saturday 10/06/2023.
