AC Spezia Calcio: an environmental & social collaboration with the Cinque Terre National Park (ITA)

AC Spezia Calcio (Serie A TIM) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Cinque Terre National Park (Liguria, ITA) that is "aimed at promoting environmental, cultural and ethical values inspired by the principles of environmental sustainability, with the aim of safeguarding and promoting the excellence of a unique territory, also through the involvement of the younger generations," announced the club on 29/08/2022.

This agreement includes a series of joint initiatives revolving around cultural, educational and social activities focused on "biodiversity", the "planning of environmental restoration projects in line with the urgencies dictated by the climate crisis" and the "promotion of training and recreational experiences of contact with nature."

"One of the first concrete actions identified by the partnership concerns the redevelopment of some paths of the Park, in a cultural, naturalistic and inclusive key to be supported also through specific fundraising campaigns promoted by Spezia Calcio," explained the Italian club.
