Licensing: Kylian Mbappé joins forces with Panini to market autographed cards & products

Kylian Mbappé, a French international playing for Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), has entered into an "exclusive multi-year deal" with trading card and sticker manufacturer Panini to market cards and products featuring the player's autographe, announced the Italian company on 29/08/2022.

The first autographed trading cards will be available during September 2022, while balls, photographs and shirts signed by the French international will then be marketed from October 2022. "Mbappé will also be featured extensively in the company's social media and marketing initiatives surrounding major soccer launches and future event activations," said Panini.

The French striker also become a major investor, an "exclusive and long-term" ambassador and a "social impact partner" of Sorare, a French startup specialised in NFTs featuring football players, on 29/06/2022. The two partners aim to "help underprivileged groups start their businesses and learn about Web3."
