Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain extends its partnership with UrbanFootball for PSG Academy until 2016

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) extended its partnership with UrbanFootball (network of 5 football centres) until 2016, announced the Parisian club on 03/10/2014.

As part of the partnership, which began in 2012, the UrbanFootball centres will continue to host the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, a program that allows 5-16 years "to discover the world of Paris Saint-Germain" through weekly workouts or internships during school holidays.

The Paris Saint-Germain Academy should accommodate 1,300 children a week in France in 2014-15 (28%)

• The Paris Saint-Germain Academy, established in 2005, annually hosts more than 3,000 children in France and abroad, according to the club.
• In 2014-15, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy operates 12 football centres, with 5 in France.
• It is expected to welcome more than 1,300 children a week in France in 2014-15 (up 28% from 2013-14)
• The Paris Saint-Germain Academy offers two types of programs:
  
  • a football school with one or two workouts a week except during school holidays
