Argentina: Socios.com retains exclusive rights to the Federation's fan tokens until 2026

Socios.com, a cryptocurrency blockchain platform owned by ChiliZ and Mediarex Sports & Entertainment, has extended as the exclusive provider of fan tokens for the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA) for "at least" four seasons (2022-2026), announced the Argentinian Football Federation on 30/08/2022.

In addition to issuing the body's official fan token ($ARG), which offers holders the opportunity to participate in surveys and enjoy exclusive rewards and experiences, "AFA and Socios.com will work together to create innovative and exciting reward and engagement opportunities linked to the FIFA World Cup in 2022, the Copa América in 2024 and the FIFA World Cup in 2026," explained the platform.

The extension comes after the AFA formalised a partnership with Hong Kong-based platform Binance for five years (2022-2026) on 24/01/2022.
