Facebook: FC Barcelona, the top club of the European Top 20, exceeds 75 million fans

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) exceeded the 75 million fans on Facebook, with more than 76.33 million "like" mentions on 6/10/2014. The world's most followed football club on Facebook recorded 1.55 million additional fans, an increase of 2.7% from early September 2014

The Catalan club remains ahead of Real Madrid (Liga BBVA), which reached 74.6 million fans on Facebook, and Manchester United (Barclays Premier League), which counts 59.3 million fans.

Chelsea FC: largest increase in the number of fans in September 2014 (+6% in one month)

• With an additional 2 million fans in September 2014, Chelsea FC (Premier League) had the highest increase in the European top 20.
