Aspire4Sport 2014: exchanges on performance and the use of science in football

Exchanges on the performance and use of science in football were the themes of the fifth edition of Aspire4Sport forum, held in Paris on 06 and 07/10/2014, by the Qatar Aspire Zone Foundation .

Representatives of more than 50 international clubs and national teams took part in discussions and working sessions, which gave them the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practices in training and management of players. They were also able to meet with representatives in Qatari sport and professionals in the performance and technology market in sport.

The Aspire4Sport Forum 2014 also resulted in several announcements such as the organisation of the 2014 Italian Super Cup in Doha (Qatar) on 22/12/2014, the creation of a Legends World Cup for football, the launch of the "Leaders Under 40" awards, and the doubling of the surface area of the Aspire Zone -- the complex dedicated to athletic performance located in Doha, the Qatari capital.
