UEFA: Turkish Airlines becomes a partner of the Champions League from 2022-23

Turkish Airlines has become a partner of the UEFA Champions League from 2022-23, announced UEFA on 05/09/2022. The agreement also includes sponsorship rights for the Super Cup and the Futsal Champions League finals, and the UEFA Youth League (U19 Champions League) finals.

"This prestigious partnership, which will be one of the most important sponsorship deals in the history of Turkish sports, carries particular importance with this season's UEFA Champions League final taking place at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium on 10/05/2023," said the body. Turkish Airlines, which thus becomes the first airline partner of the competition, had previously partnered with UEFA by becoming the official airline of Euro 2016 on 10/12/2015.

Turkish Airlines joins Mastercard (payment solutions, USA), Heineken (beer, NED), PepsiCo (beverages, USA), Just Eat Takeaway.com (meal delivery service, NED), FedEx (logistics, USA), PlayStation (video game console, Sony, JPN) and Oppo (smartphones, CHN) as an official partner of the Champions League.
