Manchester United FC - Arsenal FC (3-1), on Matchday 6 of the 2022-23 Premier League season, drew an average of 421,000 viewers in France on the pay-TV channel Canal+, on Sunday 04/09/2022 (kick-off at 16:30 local time, 17:30 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie, provided by the free and pay-TV group.

This is the second best audience for a Premier League match broadcast on the French group's channels so far this season.

Canal+ holds the full and exclusive broadcasting rights to Premier League matches for the 2022-2025 cycle. The group also held these rights for the 2019-2022 cycle and had sub-licensed them to Altice France (parent company of the pay-TV package RMC Sport), with whom it co-broadcast the English league for an estimated €50m per season each. This agreement has not been renewed for the 2022-2025 cycle.
