Olympique de Marseille: partnership with Sorare (NFTs/fantasy league) for 3 seasons (2022-2025)

Sorare, a French startup specialised in NFTs featuring football players, has become an official partner (third level) of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) for three seasons (2022-2025), announced the club on 05/09/2022.

As part of this agreement, "OM fans, collectors and players of the fantasy football game will be able to purchase virtual cards of Marseille players. Each of these cards is unique and verified by blockchain technology, ensuring its certification. Each week, they allow players to choose a composition of five players to try to win new cards and thus improve their team," explained the French club.

In France, Sorare recently became a partner of 11 Ligue 2 BKT clubs for 2022-23 in order to integrate them into a fantasy league of the European football second divisions on 25/08/2022. The French unicorn also announced Kylian Mbappé (FRA, Paris Saint-Germain) as a "major investor, exclusive and long-term ambassador and social impact partner" on 29/06/2022.
