FIFA: Legal Handbook 2022 (statutes, disciplinary codes, player transfer regulations, etc.)

"FIFA has today published the 2022 edition of its Legal Handbook, which features a unique overview of the latest regulations, statutory documents and circulars issued by world football’s governing body, thus providing valuable support to the football community at large," announced the International Federation on 05/09/2022.

The Handbook contains, among other things, the FIFA Statutes 2022, which were adopted at the Congress on 31/03/2022 and came into force 60 days later, i.e. on 30/05/2022, the Disciplinary Code (2019), the Code of Ethics (2020), the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (2022), the Regulations Governing International Matches (2014) and the Regulations for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (2022).

"Following the publication of the FIFA Legal Handbook in 2020 and 2021, the 2022 edition includes the recent changes and amendments to all regulations and rules applicable to football organisations and matches," said FIFA.

The document also includes circular letters as well as legal guides from FIFA.
