With €1.580bn spent on transfer fees since 2013, Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) are the fifth highest spending club in the European Top 5 leagues, just ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and their €1.459bn spent on player acquisitions, as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Matchday 1 of Group H of the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) on Tuesday, 06/09/2022 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

However, the Parisian club is ahead of its Italian rival in the Top 20 "World's Most Valuable Soccer Teams" (excluding real estate) as established by the American business magazine Forbes in May 2022. PSG ranks 7^th place (at $3.2bn), with Juventus in 9^th place ($2.45bn).

The Paris Saint-Germain brand is also valued at €1bn according to Brand Finance and its "Football 50 2022" ranking published on 24/05/2022. The Parisian club is in 7^th place, compared to 11^th place for Juventus FC.
