NFL: DAZN renews broadcasting rights in the DACH region & Canada from the 2023 season

DAZN has renewed its full broadcasting rights to the NFL in Canada and the DACH region, starting with the 2023 season, announced the OTT platform on 07/09/2022.

In Canada, DAZN will continue to stream all games live, including "up to as many as six games weekly", as well as "NFL RedZone and NFL Films," said the platform. "On DAZN DACH, fans can watch the German NFL simulcast 'ENDZN' live every Sunday, as well as the NFL RedZone, all Thursday, Sunday, Monday Night Football games, the complete playoffs and the Super Bowl."

The German broadcasting group Mediengruppe RTL has also acquired the rights to broadcast 80 NFL games per season free-to-air in the DACH region from the 2023 season. These games will be broadcast via its linear channel Nitro and its streaming service RTL+. In total, more than 170 NFL games will be broadcast in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland by RTL and DAZN each season.
