OL Groupe: environmental aims reaffirmed during installation of the first seats at the LDLC Arena

Environmental commitment and energy saving are the two objectives reaffirmed by the various stakeholders in the LDLC Arena project at a ceremony organised by OL Groupe for the installation of the first seats near the construction site, in Décines-Charpieu (Rhône, FRA), on 07/07/2022.

"The LDLC Arena is an avant-garde project built on very solid environmental foundations. Football in all its organisation and structures must be at the forefront of history. We must take ownership of the ambitions to optimise and reduce energy consumption, and always aim for more self-sufficiency," said Jean-Michel Aulas, president of OL Groupe, who announced the launch of "- 20 / + 20", an "ambitious programme" which aims to reduce the club's energy consumption by 20% while aiming to increase its capacity to be self-sufficient with its own energy resources by 20%.
