Stade Rennais FC: reduced capacity at Roazhon Park versus Fenerbahçe "as a precautionary measure"

"Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has taken, with regret, the decision to not open the purchase of tickets to the general public" (initially scheduled for Monday 12/09/2022 at 15:00 CET) for the 2022-23 Europa League match scheduled on Thursday 15/09/2022 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at Roazhon Park (Rennes, FRA) versus Fenerbahçe SK (TUR), announced the club on 12/09/2022.

The decision was made "following meetings with the authorities handling the security matters in relation to this Europa League game classified as high-risk; in collaboration with the UEFA, the DNLH, the Department Prefecture and Rennes City Hall," explained the Breton club.

"As a precautionary measure, the ticket office is therefore closed. Approximately 19,000 persons (our season tickets holders in priority) will thus be hosted next Thursday at the Roazhon Park (29,778 capacity). Among this audience, 1,350 away fans will be gathered in the Visiting Sector," explained the French club, which will be depriving itself of around 10,000 paid seats.
