Stade Rennais FC: second season of the "Bouge!" programme, promoting an active lifestyle

Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has launched the second season of its "Bouge!" ("Move!") programme, which aims to combat sedentary lifestyles and promote an active lifestyle, announced the club on 12/09/2022.

"During the 2021-22 school year, 20 classes (ages 8-9, 9-10 and 10-11) in the Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan (FRA) departments took part in the 'Bouge! ta classe' (Move your class) programme. This initiative aims to promote physical activity at school by developing active times, complementary to PE, which help to improve attention, control, judgement or even memory in the youngest children. Validated by an external evaluation, it has already enabled nearly 500 children aged eight to 10 to engage in physical activity on a daily basis before class," explained the club.

"The 'Bouge! ta classe' project and its daily physical activities seem to be perfectly in line with the 30 minutes of daily physical activity scheme, planned for the start of the 2022 school year.
