TEAM Marketing: Jake Harkins (ex-IMG Media) appointed as media rights sales lead

Jake Harkins has been appointed media rights sales lead at Swiss agency TEAM Marketing, announced Harkins via his LinkedIn account on 12/09/2022.

Jake Harkins has held various roles at the media rights and marketing agency IMG Media, including senior account director for football, from January to August 2022, business development director for football from July 2018 to January 2022, football executive from July 2016 to July 2018 as well as football media rights coordinator from December 2014 to July 2016.

TEAM Marketing acquired the worldwide (excluding the USA) marketing (media and sponsorship/marketing) rights to the UEFA men's club competitions (Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League, Super Cup and Youth League) for the 2024-2027 cycle on 07/02/2022. TEAM Marketing has been marketing the media rights of the UEFA Champions League since it was founded in 1992. The Swiss agency has been in charge of all commercial rights for the competition in all territories except the USA over the 2024-2027 cycle (marketed by Relevent Sports Group).
