FIFA: Gianni Infantino hosts European member associations in Paris to discuss development projects

The achievements and progress of FIFA's "Forward" development programme, women's football, the "Football for Schools" project and the opportunities linked to the launch of the "FIFA+" OTT platform at the beginning of 2022, were among the topics of discussion during a seminar organised by the International Federation with representatives of UEFA and 14 European member associations in Paris (FRA) on 08/09/2022.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino welcomed the general secretaries of the federations in person and officially launched the meeting, the first of three open to European member associations, at the world body's new Parisian offices at the Hôtel de la Marine (Paris, 8^th arrondissement).

"I'm really happy to welcome you here for your input on all of these projects that we are planning for the future because you're amongst the most experienced and this can benefit the entire world," said Gianni Infantino.

The 14 European member associations/federations represented on 08/09/2022 were those of: Armenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Hungary, Iceland…
