The 2022 edition of the US Open Grand Slam tennis tournament, played at Flushing Meadows (New York, USA) from 29/08 to 11/09/2022, drew an average of 1.21 million viewers on ESPN (The Walt Disney Company) in the United States (+50% compared to 2021), the third highest audience since the pay-TV bouquet began broadcasting the tournament in 2015, announced ESPN on 13/09/2022.

🎾 The Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) - Frances Tiafoe (USA) semi-final of the men's tournament (6-7, 6-3, 6-1, 6-7, 6-3), drew an average of 2.96 million viewers, with a peak audience of 3.6 million on ESPN on Saturday, 10/09/2022 (match start at 19:00 East Coast time), up 66% from an equivalent semi-final in 2021.
