Qatar 2022: "The first Arab country to host such a global event" (Sheikh T. bin Hamad Al Thani)

"We are the first Arab country to host such a global event. It is very important for the youth, especially from the Arab world. Hundreds of thousands of people will come. Everyone, whoever they are, whatever their origin or culture, will be welcome," said Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, about the 2022 World Cup that his country is hosting, in an exclusive interview with the French weekly magazine Le Point on 15/09/2022.
