DFL: collaboration agreement with the NFL, which will play one game per year in Germany until 2025

The National Football League (NFL) and the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) have signed an agreement to collaborate "in key business areas, with a particular focus on the US and German markets," announced the German league on 15/09/2022.

The two leagues "will increase communication and collaboration in the areas of production, broadcast and programming, digital innovation and marketing. The partnership marks another step in the DFL's dynamic internationalization strategy and supports the approach to grow the Bundesliga's popularity globally, ensuring that even more fans around the world can experience the best of German football," explained the DFL.

As part of the agreement, the NFL will play its first-ever game in Germany on 13/11/2022 at the Allianz Arena in Munich (Bavaria, GER) with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Seattle Seahawks game. "Germany will host one regular season NFL game in each of the next four years, alternating between Munich and Frankfurt," added the German body.
