Spain: end of referees' strike in Liga F (Women's Pro League) after agreement with the authorities

"A historic CSD - RFEF agreement for the professionalisation of women's refereeing," announced the Spanish Football Federation on 14/09/2022. "The referees accept the proposal of Liga F and Matchday 2 of the championship (17 and 18/09/2022, see below) will be played normally," confirmed the Spanish Women's Professional Football League, which was able to play its scheduled matches over the weekend.

None of the eight games on Matchday 1 of the first Liga F season, the new Spanish women's professional football league, could be played on Saturday 10 (four matches) and Sunday 11/09/2022 (four matches) due to a strike by referees in protest against their salary conditions and status.
