Italy/FIGC: ITA Airways (airline), official partner of the Italian Football Federation for 2022-2024

The Italian state-owned airline, ITA Airways, has become an official partner of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) "until 31/12/2024" in order to "develop and promote Italian sport around the world," announced the Italian Football Federation during a press conference at the Federal Technical Centre in Coverciano (ITA) on 22/09/2022.

As part of the agreement, "ITA Airways will be the official carrier of the Italian national football teams, taking care of all air travel for these two years. All the national teams, men's, women's, youth, futsal, beach soccer and esports will be on board ITA to reach the competition venues of the international competitions in which the Azzurri teams will be taking part," explained the Federation. The Italian Referees Association (AIA), the technical sector and the youth and scholastic sector will also benefit from the deal.
