Stade Brestois 29: public consultation phase for the new stadium project from 10/10 to 20/11/2022

As part of its project for a new stadium, which will be known as the "Espace Froutven", Stade Brestois 29 (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) is launching a public consultation phase, which will take place from 10/10 to 20/11/2022, and whose objectives are "to inform and collect input from the public in order to enrich the project and share it with the region," announced the club on 22/09/2022.

Designed in the shape of a boat, the future stadium, which will be built in Guipavas (a commune that is part of Brest Métropole, Finistère) and which is due to be completed in 2026, will be able to accommodate 15,000 spectators, a capacity equivalent to that of the current Stade Francis Le Blé (15,150 capacity). The total cost of the project was estimated at €85m when it was presented on 30/03/2022, with "the participation of semi-public companies and other partners," according to Denis Le Saint, president of the Breton club.
