Premier League: Sorare (NFTs/fantasy league), official partner of Liverpool FC from 2022-23

Sorare, a startup specialised in NFTs bearing the image of players, has expanded its partnership with Liverpool FC (Premier League) to become a global partner (third level) from 2022-23, announced the club on 22/09/2022.

The two parties had entered into an initial licensing agreement in 2021, under which virtual cards featuring the club's players were launched on the platform. "The first-of-its-kind partnership will see Liverpool FC collaborate with Sorare on multimedia fan content and release new unique experiences for Reds fans and Sorare's managers," explained the Merseyside club.

"The exclusive partnership is the latest in a series of major milestones for Sorare, which now has more than two million users worldwide and 280+ partnering sports organisations - including LaLiga, the Bundesliga (DFL), Lega Serie A and Major League Baseball," said LFC. Recently, the French unicorn valued at $4.6bn (€4.6bn) partnered with the National Basketball Association to launch a basketball fantasy league from 2022-23, as part of a deal signed on 07/09/2022.
